ABOUT US: OUR HISTORY
Century Staffing Consultants, LLC. was founded in November 1974 by Steve Klein. Originally engaged in the contingency search business with a specialization in the Office Services environment. Century rapidly grew to deliver high quality candidates in the Sales Accounting and Technology arena.
Due to client demand Century Staffing Consultants embraced the Temporary Staffing Business in 1986. Steve together with his Vice President of Operations, Barbara Campo sought the assistance of a California based consulting company that specialized in the Temporary Staffing business. Knowing how important systems and procedures were to the Temp business, this firm helped Century become a key player in the Temporary Staffing industry in Northern New Jersey.
Century for the last ten years has been named in the "Top 50" staffing firms in New Jersey by NJBiz Magazine. Moreover, in the last ten years the second generation of family has joined Century to help continue its growth.
Steve Klein, CEO and Certified Personnel Consultant has served as Director and Vice President of the New Jersey Staffing Alliance for more then eleven years. In that capacity he has received almost every single award that the association bestows on an officer and director. Steve is a strong believer in educating his clients and candidates in how they can more successfully utilize staffing firms to improve their search results. Steve has been named to Marquis's Who's Who in business as well as Strathmore's Who's Who in Business and Industry. Having lead the firm to success for more than three decades, Steve is excited and optimistic about the future of the economy, staffing industry and most importantly the continued success of Century.
KEEPING IT IN THE FAMILY
Now that the second generation of family members are well entrenched in the business they are continuing the family tradition of hard work, business integrity and education of the general public and industry about the value of the staffing profession.
Jeff Klein joined the family business in 1996 and has been a part of each and every division in the organization. Now heading up the Temporary/Contract Staffing Division, it is JeffÕs responsibility to make sure the department is satisfying the needs of the clients and candidates that Century represents. He supervises a staff of two Account Managers and one Sales Representative. Jeff is continuing to make sure that the staff continues to grow and stay focused on the needs of our clients.
Jason Klein has been with the family business since he was working part-time in high school. During the completion of his Masters Degree in Business, Jason continued to get his education in staffing while working for Century during college breaks. After receiving his MBA, Jason decided to join his brother in the family business and specializes in finding top tier candidates for his growing base of clients in the B2B Sales environment.
